Whimsical At Home Micro Wedding

For those of you who remember Monique and Eddie from the most gorgeous mountain engagement – I am so excited to share with you their beautiful at home, micro wedding! Due to COVID many of my couples had to postpone or change their plans. These two had to postpone and reschedule twice! However, instead of changing again they scrapped everything and planned this absolutely stunning at home wedding. Words cannot describe how insanely beautiful their setup was! The ceremony and reception was all hosted at the brides’ grandmother’s house whom her parents inherited. The history alone is beautiful, and they did such a fantastic job with setting up!

Everything seriously felt like a studio, a professional set up. The house was beautifully decorated, and with a rental company’s help they had everything ready by the time I had arrived. The ceremony took place in the family living room, with live stream set up by the groom. That way friends and family who couldn’t physically be the wedding could at least virtually attend. Their “bridal suite” set up in a spare bedroom, and well, I should let the photos talk about how absolutely perfect it was!

After the ceremony, the couple and I (with help of the most adorable flower girl) headed over to Brand Park for some photos. While we were doing this, the family who stayed behind were busy setting up the front yard for the reception! Backyard weddings are becoming popular, and this micro wedding did not disappoint at all. With string lights draping, music playing with SONOS speakers, everything felt so whimsical!
