Part of what I love about my photography passion is being able to meet so many wonderful people. I have made countless connections and friendship, and I am always so thankful of the wonderful community I am in. Stephanie, the owner of Go Cakes is one such amazing friendship I have made.

We had met through our mutual friend Juju over at PuL Flower LA about a month prior. We had connected immediately over the love of cats (actually, all 3 of us have cats haha). Then to mutual connection over owning our own small businesses. It was so refreshing to meet other fellow female business owners and talking about our struggles and achievements. I knew at this moment, I had gained not just a business client, but a friend.

It was such a pleasure to photograph Go Cakes’ Grand Opening ceremony in San Marino, CA few weeks after we met. And I am so glad to finally have time to blog about it!! The room was filled with so much laughter and wonderful people, I had so much fun while working.

Oh, and honestly – Go Cakes makes the best macarons I have ever had in my life, and there’s no exaggeration. Have you had those flaky, dry macarons with no flavor?
