Santa Monica Pier and Beach Photo Session

I wanted to start off 2020 blogs with this cute session I had the pleasure of taking at Santa Monica Pier. Chris and Darci were such an adorable duo, and I had such a great time hanging out with them at the iconic Santa Monica beach and pier. This is the same pier that is popular for tourists where Route 66 ends/begins, so I was a little worried about the crowds at first. However the people in the background added a nice touch to showcase the lifestyle. Darci also had great ideas to stay after sundown to capture lights from the Pacific Park attractions.

We started off meeting below the pier for some photos in the sands. West LA is home to many piers, but this is obviously one of the biggest ones. I had no idea how incredible it was under the world famous pier! The light streaming through the wood beams, this gorgeous couple – what more did I need? Chris and Darci were also so prepared with different outfits for this fun session. I honestly think outfit changes gives different looks, even if its in the same area and I am all for it. Would you be interested in outfit changes? Let me know in the comments below!

Now, take a look below at this ridiculously photogenic couple at the Santa Monica Pier! I hope the photographs showcase how absolute fun this session was.
