Cerritos Sculpture Garden and the Cerritos Library is such a picturesque setting for fun engagement session despite the rain! I am definitely adding this to my go-to spots for Los Angeles wedding and engagement photoshoots for the future. Every corner we turned was so different and beautiful, with the perfect landscaping in the garden, and the unique structures of the library.
Honestly though, as a Los Angeles native – I always wondered what it would be like to photograph a rainy engagement session. We hardly see rain, and I am so glad I got to do this with these two. Jingru and Ricky were such an adorable couple, and were tough even when the rain fell down pretty hard. I had so much fun getting to know them in between shoots as we waited for the rain to pass. The gloomy skies also added a nice touch, too instead of the open plain blue skies Los Angeles usually sees.
As we wrapped up Cerritos Library and Sculpture Garden area, we headed to the parking lot for a mini shoot with Ricky’s Honda NSX! As an auto enthusiast myself, I had so much fun with this. Those of you who know, NSX isn’t exactly a common car and its honestly such a beautiful car despite its age. (I was actually really stunned to find out he had one of the first S15 conversion years ago, too!) The gray color also was a picture perfect combo on the wet floor.
Anyway enough of the car talk, onto the engagement session! Oh, and these two are getting married at Los Coyotes Golf Club next month, and I cannot wait!!
